Just an FYI if you're just getting this for the "free" tablet. The tablet is a Galaxy A7 lite which only costs $200 ($129 on Amazon)

They will still lock you to a 2 year EIP even if it's free (They'll make a monthly credit to cover the tablet EIP)

Meaning you'd end up paying $10 for 2 years ($240) for a $129 tablet.

So if you're only doing it for the tablet then it's not worth it
Some people don't live in a house.
Not on the "free" tablet, lol. In all seriousness, don't choose the plan with TE in the title as that one is tax exclusive (you have 2 choices)

soc code ZB10HSTI is the one you want.

Yes but for business account only
thank you, I already found on the first page (I was browsing from phone and missed this at first) repped! worship

And... anybody activated recently? An old Reddit thread says promo ended 3/31... Too lazy to drive 20 miles to nearest TM (but I have an EIN)

Update: there are some recent data points – people on reddit say there were unable to open an account by phone in late April / early May, but got the deal in a corp store

my Business rep can help you put the Chromebook together with this $10 deal
Could you please share a rep contact? I'm going to set up an account (latest posts here and reddit say to go to a corp store) for table, but getting a Chromebook would be a sweet deal to add.

Has anyone tried to pop one of these tablet sims into a Nokia NG21 (trashcan) or the arcadyan modem? My guess is that once Tmobile detected the imei of one of their home internet devices they would shut down data for that sim. I really want to take advantage of band n71 near my house, but the m2000 doesn't seem to want to catch it.

I assumed most ppl would use the tablet plan sim card in a mobile phone.
I put the sim card with this tablet plan in a phone, I notice the upload speed is almost 0. very very slow.
Download speed is ok, depends on phone (5G vs LTE phone) or the location. 10M-70M

I think that's just down to T-Mobile's rural coverage generally being not so great. On a 5G iPhone I get about 10 down and 1.5 up at home versus 200++ down and 40+ up in the city.

Same question here. Getting the runaround on the twitter business support. They only offer to cover $10 out of $30 I paid at the store.

You paid $30 at store ?

You said you ordered by phone, not at store ?

Quote from Powza :
But since I was already on the phone with the support I figured I'll just order the sim and plan, no device. Rep was able to find my application, added the "Magenta Business Tablet 10GB Promo" line and sent the order link to my e-mail.

In case anyone is wondering what (relative) broadband speeds are between the TMOHS1 and something like the Inseego 2100 (out of the box, no custom firmware), I just received my free test drive TMOHS1 device and tested it against this $10 Magenta Business Unlimited tablet plan with the Inseego M2100.
- iPad Mini 4 LTE (Magenta Business SIM) = 35mbps down / 4mbps up (as a baseline for the tablet SIM plan in an actual tablet)
- TMOHS1 (with included 30-day SIM) = 28-32mbps down / 9-11mbps up
- TMOHS1 (Magenta Business SIM) = 21-32mbps down / 17-18mbps up
- Inseego M2100 (with T-Mobile 30-day hotspot SIM) = blocked from being used as it received no signal from T-Mobile
- Inseego M2100 (Magenta Business SIM) = 113mbps down / 19mbps up (3 bars of 5G cellular signal)

*** These data points are from my home in San Francisco in the late evening; I've gotten different (slower) speeds in the daytime hours

Wondering if it OK to do this.
I do get 5G on Samsung S22 with 100mbps download v/s 15mbps on the Tab A7 Lite on 4GLTE. I am not planning to use talk as I prefer Google Voice
