I've been using this watch until earlier this year and switched to Garmin watch. It's although a few years old, but the firmware is still getting updates and amazfit has changed to Zepp app which also gets updates quite often. The smart features are working all good. But sports and activity tracking is not so accurate as Garmin and Apple watch. Maybe close to Samsung watch which is also pretty bad at tracking activities. But this watch has a much better battery life around 4-5 days.

This watch is 3 generations and 4+ years old. I don't think it works on the latest app from Amazfit and that it will have any updates.

I'm not sure of the operability but at this point would it be better to go with a newer generation BIP watch? Functionality would remain the same or better at around the same cost.

I have the GTS 2e, and love it. For $50 (half of what I paid for the 2e, on sale!), I'd have happily bought this instead.

I had an Amazfit watch and switched to a more expensive Garmin. If your fitness watch budget is $50, though, I don't think you'll do better than the Amazfit watches. One other to consider is the GTS 2 Mini for $48.50 (or less if you buy more than one): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazfit-...4445161568

Yep, that's a huge difference for a fitness watch. I want to be able to go for a run and leave my phone at home.

At $30 the Wyze watch seems like a fantastic alternative to a fitness band like Fitbit. But it's not a real replacement for a Garmin, as Amazfit tries to be (and succeeds pretty well, considering the price).

Amazfit support is subpar imho. Their answer to most issues is to factory reset the watch and readd it to the app again.
