if anyone gets stuck like me, the website auto filled in a weaker coupon and applied it in the cart. when i entered this promo code it said this one was invalid. took me a moment to realize the weaker code was blocking this one. hope that saves someone else 45 seconds of confusion

Yes - split canvas print 11x14 x3 ended up ~$31 instead of $127. I did have to do pickup at a different store, but it's not inconvenient so I don't mind.

Here's your chance to use some of your pictures with resolution no quite good enough for regular prints. Canvas prints will come out O.K. with relatively low resolution. That carries with it a warning: images with fine detail do not do as well on canvas as images with larger features (scenery, sunset, etc.).
As for metal prints. the one I got from W's had a "semi-glossy" surface. To some extent defeats one of the reasons to do a metal print : its brilliance.
When you get the metal print examine it carefully for scratches. Hold the print so the lighting would fall on it at a sharp angle and tilt it around. I did not do that for a while after I got the print and it did have scratches. I threw it out. I am not going to display anything in my home that I am not proud of.
BTW, the print was of the same image as my avatar on SD.

Exact experience with a metal print- scratches galore. Too bad I discovered it a few days later. The resolution was bad too. Haven't tossed it out yet but might as well
