Only because I care -please get max extended warranty if not too much $$. My son and I each bought Element 55" 4k several years ago and they each lasted about 3 years before blinking out. Hoping your model is better.

My ex has been complaining about her bf wanting a new TV. This fits the bill, as their room can only fit a 55 inch

Get Hisense 55in from Costco for $10 more and buy with Citi Costco card, get 5 yr warranty at no cost. Does Dolby Vision too.

Can anyone comment as to why Element for $10 less would make sense? Except obvious, if you're not a Costco member or don't know someone who is?

Exactly. Makes even more sense to get the Hisense if putting on a patio. The elements will attack the Element and you'll be wishing you had an extra 4 yr warranty coverage.

Hisense is crap and Element is probably also. Neither would last more than a couple years if that

Why do you care to help in this situation? Serious question.

The Costco one or this would be perfect if either one had HDMI 2.1
But since they don't if I had to choose I would go with the Costco one.
