I have to roll my eyes at this because the 48" is available via Amazon for $50 more with the 2 year CPS warranty.... I know the warranty a lot of people say is shit, but bought via Buydig... TBH I think ALL companies out now are shit, however, I think Amazon has one of the most robust and relatively (key word, relatively) simple customer services, if any company could force CPS to either stop their shit or take the hit it's Amazon. Not everyone has the stomach for it but I know I personally have gotten partial refunds or even returned items years, yes plural, years later via Amazon, because the company that sold the item did not honor a promise made on the buy page. If you are savvy and know how to exert pressure, that's the good buy IMO. Companies, under the Federal Trade Commission act have to honor what is on the buy page, and that also includes Amazon sharing the liability if a seller or company does not fulfil the promise, if you don't have a background in business or a history of knowing how to get things done in regards to making sure companies follow the law to the letter, then get the one without CPS warranty. For everyone else, the CPS warranty via Amazon is as far as I know the best bet for covering burn in besides geeksquad which I believe is pricey, and the only one I know covering physical damage(costco or allstate maybe?), I will be taking an extra precaution if I buy and making sure it's on a credit card that extends that same warranty heavily (+2 years) as well as one that doesn't require nonsense for disputes like filling out long forms and instead can easily launch disputes with a good track history for winning them and standing up for me.
I am honestly hoping to get the 55" via Amazon with a 4year CPS for $1,000-$1,200.... which essentially means 6 years of coverage extended by my credit card company, also if a company denies my coverage it has technically ended meaning my credit card kicks in at exactly that point.
Anyway just my two cents as someone who 100% gets when he paid for when it comes to warranties that companies like CPS love so much as big money makers, due to their bad track records, and honestly fraudulent honoring practices, they will never stop me and if they try, their partners (technically in crime) will pay for their mistakes, in cold, hard, cash.

$1200 should be coming soon for 65 inch - potentially even with that 4 year you wanted to add?
