My experience. Bacon doesn't curl up a whole lot on a griddle anyway so this is kind of unnecessary. Just use a burger press you already have. Personally I wouldn't want a press with all the bumps and ridges to keep clean.

If you have an induction cooktop and since this is cast iron, would the induction field heat this and cook the bacon from the top or too far above?
Use this as a tofu press to squeeze out the water. Make tofu steak or bread it and fry it. Check out "tofu katsu" I'm in omnivore but this is a winner
