If buying a set of 4 tires that cost $900+, split the transaction into two orders of two and get $100 off twice. Code can be used twice per account.

incorrect. Straight from dtd website.

Vehicle manufacturers recommend tire replacement at 6 years.
Tire manufacturers' warranties expire at 6 years.

I had Costco mount and balance them for my last set I got from tirerack. They won't give you any benefits if you bought them from costco but $10-$15 per tire to be balanced and mounted is a steal.

Don't forget that some manufactures offer rebates as well. For example, I ordered a set of Pirelli Scorpion Plus 3 which currently qualifies for a $70 mail in rebate through the manufacturer. When you include this discount offered through eBay + manufacturer rebate + Chase Freedom Cash Back, this turns out to be a pretty slick deal!

Figure prices will stay high or increase. For me specifically, now 50% higher than the lowest price I found early 2021. I didn't want to store tires, but I guess I have to now in order to secure a deal in the modern slow-apocalypse.

Mnfg rebate is an entirely separate transaction. You have to go to the tire mnfg website and complete and submit the rebate form there.

It depends highly on what part of the country you live in. I've seen as low as $15 per tire in the more rural / lower cost of living areas. It can be as high as $45 per tire in the major metro areas / higher cost of living areas.

Been waiting to pull the trigger on trailer tires from Hankook. Load range G so these bad boys are heavy and expensive. Discount worked on 2+3 tires from Simple Tire. brought me down to $216 AND unlike direct buying from their site, I didn't have to pay the FET they would have otherwise charged me.

I called my local Mavis Tire shop to see if they would match Tirebuyer on ebay with promotion.
Didn't even need to pressure them , they agreed to a match pricing right away.
