I've had these and given them away. They work great as a workbench with handy clamping ability, but are kind of a drag to set up and take down, so I found that I just kept them set up - taking up valuable floor space in the shop, which sort of defeats the purpose.

I've found other, easier, portable options, for when I need to work somewhere else.
Worthines is relative to the user. But to your point, it's a portable work bench w/ clamps for when you can't take your fixed workbench with you. Some say the build quality is not as heavy-duty as the original model from 30-40 years ago, but what is nowadays? It still serves a valuable purpose.
I just got the Keter Folding Work Table — 750-Lb. Capacity with Extendable Legs, Model# 17209954 for 100 bucks after using the Spend $100+ and Get $20 Off Orders with Northern Tool Promo Code
278345.
Seems like a big upgrade over this one

For people asking about alternatives, the Worx Pegasus and the Kreg Mobile Project Center are both great options. I have both and am very happy them. Worx is cheaper and goes on sale frequently. The Kreg is nice if you have other Kreg items as they can integrate. Both of those table ares quick to open and close so its not a hassle to actually store them when not in use.
Love my Worx Pegasus! Pretty sure I found it on sale here too.

This thing is great for vising small things on a workspace. I used some scrap marble to make cutting boards, and it was perfect for grinding and edge polishing. Also good as a third hand for assembling things

It's a bit smaller than most of the other options recommended here, which is either good or bad depending on use case. Also quite a bit cheaper. Haven't had an issue with them lasting or anything either.

A piece of plywood with hinges, attached to a 2×4 on your wall, makes a great folding work bench.

Agreed and you can store the Work outside because it's all plastic (and minimal metal parts)

Not many fans here, but I have this and really like it.

Pros:
- Very sturdy metal base.
- Solid wood top (mine ~15 years old is bamboo and has been very durable and does not warp)
- Collapses for storage
- Can clamp open and 90 degree angle.
- Has groove in clamp edge for holding round stock (mine does anyway)
- lots of holes for bench dogs.

Cons:
- Heavy

When grinding or sanding, I generally prefer an outdoor table. Else inside of my garage gets covered in dust and grit. Even my tablesaw, I'll put in the backyard when cutting.

I got the same bench but smaller size. Workman 125 I believe. It's a Major pain to set up. Really, a big headache. In fact I got up to the end of just setting up and just have the knobs to set but putting in the pins has been impossible for me. Been sitting in the corner for months because every time I try, I can't. Even with a hammer. It won't stay stable enough at one position for me to hammer in the pins as the manual and ppl on YouTube say.

I've had one for about 10 years and find it indispensable for a variety of uses. I agree with the above list, though I see the weight is an advantage because it keeps it more stable than a flimsy one would. I use this one as a complement to my smaller folding work table that has wheels, and while this workbench is harder to move and takes longer to set up, it's not exactly a trial of Hercules. It usually winds up being used in the yard as a support for cutting or sanding.

I store it folded up under my workbench in the garage, and it fits just fine with all the other stuff under there. I do like that when it's folded up it isn't tall, unlike the one with wheels that winds up being the size of a small ladder (vertically).

My father in law gave me one 35 years ago. It hangs in my garage, easy to set up and use. It's been a valuable tool. I've worked on tires, doors, put my chop saw on it when building a cabin. I have beaten the crap out of it but it comes back for more.

The wife has a heat press that takes a good amount of pressure to clamp down when pressing shirts, etc. Right now she is using a folding table and I don't see it lasting too long, especially with all that force being applied to it plus the weight of the heat press. I know this work bench should hold better vs a reg folding table, my question is would this last or is there something else i should look into? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for coupon code. It can be used to get the 750lb model for $100. It can also be stacked on the discount of the 1,000lb version (model 252638), making it $90.

Nice find, I wanted the adjustable height so it could work with either my Hercules miter or Dewalt 745 tablesaw.
