I have this bed (same bed, different seller). Paid about $250. My son didn't like how low it was. Got replacement legs from home Depot. He still didn't care for it because of the extremely low backrest/headboard. Moved this to the guest room which was empty. Better than throwing a mattress on a metal frame I guess.
Are you sure about that? It's probably easier to explain the mattress on the floor than the sleigh bed.
I'm so glad my wife and I have the same taste. I wouldn't last long in marriage if I had to constantly get permission to do things
For a 2nd guest room I don't care what it looks like. 2 people will see it per year and they will be very drunk. It is pretty hideous, but at this price I wouldn't have cared.
The expectation for pleather furniture should be no more than 3 years before that stuff flakes off and becomes an eye sore and vacuuming/sweeping chore. If you're a broke college student or renting, it makes throwing this away a reasonable purchase. Otherwise you'll be back to replacing said furniture. I don't know about most of you but I don't enjoy replacing something as cumbersome to assemble (and dissemble to fit through door frames) every 3 years. It seems like it doesn't even matter how much usage pleather gets, it just disintegrates after 3ish years.
If this is anything like what my brother is using, you can't use the side of the bed to sit on, it's about 6 inches on the sides that you have to reach out to get out of bed (because the edge is curved that you'll most likely slip)
Bought one for guest room with 5 yr all state protection plan for $12 extra. If it falls apart, hope allstate wouldn't hesitate to return original cost.
