Always thinking about picking this up and even saw it in Costco. But just can't bring myself to pay $15 for a box.
I have it. I like it. the included battery tester is meh..but it works
Agree with this 100%;
Has been great for the actual storage and bought a different battery tester.

Is there something wrong if I store my batteries in a box that I get at dollar store?

The costco online price is $14.99 which includes shipping.
If they sell same item in store also, then price is typically lower.
That's what I was trying to find out.

Does anyone have a less than $10 alternative to this that actually works well. I've been searching and no luck.

Dimwit! I bought this after assuming that it is not worth $15. Its absolutely worth every cent of it since I use this to store rechargeables and I use the rechargeables a lot more now since I can keep the charged ones and the uncharged ones organized. Paid about the same a year ago, but worth every penny since I have used the rechargeables a lot more in the last year I have had this since anytime before.

Thumbs up for things that help keep me organized. I'd be interested it they got rid of the C and D sizes, added more space for coin size. It would be smaller and lighter if they did.
