I've had this for years now. Works great, would definitely recommend over a drawer full of half-opened packages of batteries. I don't use the tester much but when I do it seems to work fine. Latches are solid and still lock closed after lots of use.

As an added bonus if you're a Dad the lame joke possibilities are endless. Someone needs a battery? Who's your daddy? BATTERY DADDY.

I also was pleasantly surprised how useful the $10 case was; I automatically dismissed it as some terrible Seen On TV gimmicky product. The included battery tester has proven handy too; was able to get rid of a bunch of dead/under specified voltage batteries that I was needlessly saving.

My only complaint is that the case is too favored and tailored made for AA batteries; it would have been nice to have more storage for 9v, C, and D batteries. I mean for cripes' sake; I think the entire back case is devoted to AAs which is ridiculous. Did someone have a wild sex party and needed a plethora of AAs for their kinky toys? Gives a new meaning to Battery Daddy laugh out loud
