Nope they take an sd card and record locally themselves. These come with a 32gb sd card, the 1080p version didn't.

Quite a large price difference compared to the indoor C24. It does seem to have better night vision and of course it's weather proof. Unless it was super convenient to install the wired cam I'd still go with a Solocam for outside.

I have 4 indoor C24s and 2 Solocams.

I have the solocam 40 and its light does the job pretty well. Won't light up your whole yard but it works really well

Hate how it says 2k that is only the local recording to my knowledge. Streaming it or using RTSP will not be 2k.

Correct. This will not stream in 2k over rtsp. It tried before and others also.

Are you sure, my doorbell is the same as the camera.
Stream quality is only High/medium/low while recording allows 2k

The camera is good but floodlight is merely useful. The whole power supply is USB 5v1a (5w) and you can't expect much lumen from it.

Did you go into the app and tweak the motion settings? You can create motion zones that reduce this behavior.
