The "mem"chanical keyboard has these fragile as heck. Some keys are not having the "clicky" feel. I need to adjust these tiny metal tabs with a toothpick. If it protrudes too much, the key gets stuck. If it not far enough out, it's a mushy membrane switch. This has been like pulling teeth out.
Real Cherry switches and clones are super durable in comparison - thanks to the fact that they are enclosed in a plastic "box". My Cooler Master keyboard from 2013 had the spacebar fail a couple months out of warranty. It was a cold solder joint. Switch was perfectly fine. Soldered a jumper wire to fix it with my cousin.
