I got this last time it was for sale I've used it maybe 4 time already. It's been great, from full empty tire to 35 psi worked great. But make sure you have a full battery, if it dies during a refill it will completely deflated the item you're trying to fill. 🤦

It's really sad that you are so bored with life and small of a person that the highlight of your day is to troll Ryobi threads.

I used to have this mindset. Then I realized that as a regular Joe DIY-er I do not often push my tools to their limit the way a contractor that uses them daily might and that my livelihood is in no way tied to tool reliability. Once I realized that, I determined that the relatively small incremental performance boost from XYZ brand was not worth the sometimes significant increase in cost. But maybe you are a contractor and your livelihood is tied to it. Or maybe you have more disposable income and like to buy more expensive tools. Im sure there are 100 other reasons why you might not like Ryobi aside from one broke on you once. But in any event, thread crapping just because of a brand reminded me of the old Ford vs Chevy and made me laugh, so I typed this message. Have a good day.

I love this. I keep it in my trunk for low tire notifications as well as camping. For tire inflation you set the desired PSI (the display shows current PSI as well), press go and it runs until the PSI has been reached, super easy.

Not a good deal if you don't have other Ryobi tools and/or charger.
I had a handheld inflator which I use with my Wilwaukee batteries via an adapter. It's the only Ryobi tool I have and it was $19
If you need a combo, DTO can be a place at the same price including battery charger.

Nice catch - especially as factory blems from DTO are typically new as far as the eye can tell, including warranty.

One note however: The kit doesn't come with the same battery as the HD package. The DTO kit includes the basic 1.5 Ah battery with no charge indicator, whereas the HD package includes the 2.0 Ah battery with the four-bar charge indicator light.

The difference in capacity isn't huge, but the charge lights on the battery are really nice to have. I guess I've been spoiled, but now I hate grabbing one of these basic batteries and needing to wonder how much charge it has. In my subjective opinion the charge light adds significant value. I'd gladly trade all my basic batteries 2-for-1 for batteries with charge indicators. It's the first thing I check when I'm looking at combo kits or tools w/ battery.

Can you tell me where 2.0 batteries are $30 or less?

Home Depot currently has the 2.0 Ah batteries on sale: a two-pack plus charger for $59.

I don't think this is the best price, but I love that inflator as someone who rides a bike. Can set destination psi and it fills to it. Portable. I use it sparsely, maybe once a month, for 2 years so far. So it looking like a winner.
It works great for cars. You can set the psi to what's recommended for the vehicle. It stops automatically at that psi. Earlier when I had to go to the gas station, I did not do that often but now after having this, I am making sure tire pressure is as per recommended every two weeks or so.

I have tried this on my bike so far.
What psi do you have to set for bike? Or is it filled up and stopped manually for bike?

DAMN! It looks like it has a battery included, but no charger? Different to me. I don't have Ryobi products, so no charger in my garage. Otherwise I would've bit.

I have the older model of this and it's probably one of the best purchases I've ever made, used it tons over the years. I keep it in my truck and have helped out quite a few family/friends as well, they're always asking to borrow it now.

Cordless is cool but I ordered the Ridgid $49 inflator for trunk duty as it can be powered by 12V if the battery quits or is unavailable.

Has anyone adapted a Makita battery to Ryobi? This inflator seems better than Makita's version since it auto stops without having to hold the power.

Public Service Announcement Pro Tip

Keep your tires at proper pressure during this high gas price era. It can affect your gas efficiency 5-10%

hindolam is doing it right. I only do mine once every 2 months.

Although this Inflator gets good reviews, Ryobi is not on the same level as Milwaukee, Makita, or DeWalt.
This is true, but to 95% of people it doesn't matter. I have plenty of products from each and for the average DIY'er, it makes ALMOST no difference.
To a professional contractor it matters more I am sure.

I'm not trolling, I have real tools and personally have had ryobi failed on me
It's not the tools fault, it's how you use it.

That does sound better for a car. Keeping a battery in a hot car is really bad for the battery too.

This ryobi one is a super star for me and my bike.
