I have to laugh, half the deals that get posted, there must be 20% of responses that mention "oh, you can get this cheaper at Harbor Freight," blah, blah, blah... and then a 30% off of $10 and under coupon is offered w/o almost any exclusions, and then there's a lot of HFT Hate!?
Prices at HFT on many things have crept up over the years (but so has inflation), however, HFT still has a lot of outstanding deals and offers a lifetime guarantee on most hand tools... and then you add a 30% discount -- that's pretty hard to beat. I think the screwdriver sets, in particular, are extremely good deals.
EDIT - I have to add this metal 3 pc ball end hex and torx folding key set as one of the very good deals with the coupon:
"3 Piece Folding Ball Hex Key Set" https://www.harborfreight.com/han...98523.html
You're obviously entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. Your assertion seems to be that people are deluding themselves into thinking stuff at Harbor Freight used to be cheaper. There are countless threads on Reddit, Garage Journal, etc. discussing how prices are now just as high as Home Depot, Lowes, etc., useful coupons are few and far between, and that Harbor Freight products are just flat out more expensive now. Do you really think all of these people are crazy, stupid, and/or delusional? I don't think so. Their observations are very consistent with my observations.
No. Did you read what I wrote? I said that prices have increased, but that there are valid reasons for many of the increases.
If you want my speculation as to why there is this disproportionate hate- some of it is being slow to acknowledge price increases over time. But another is a failure to appreciate and accept that HF makes some higher quality tools now. To some HF only makes disposable tools, even when some of their tools are every bit as as good as their preferred designer brand names. They have been in transition for years to expand into mid and higher-tier tool quality levels.

Do YOU read what you write? You wrote, "People are nostalgic for a time that never was." Is that not an assertion that people are delusional?
Also, you're completely ignoring that people who shop at Harbor Freight may also shop at Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Curiously, people aren't annoyed at other retailers for normal inflation-based price increases, just Harbor Freight. Gee, I wonder why that could be. Could it be that prices at Harbor Freight have increased disproportionately to inflation? No, definitely not (sarcasm).
Lastly, everyone knows that Harbor Freight makes some mediocre-quality tools and some good-quality tools at differing price points. That has been the case for many years and isn't the point of contention here.

I have a 25% off "anything" coupon. Supposedly, no exceptions. Looks like the upper end torque wrenches are a bit more expensive than they were. Maybe I should consider an air compressor. I don't need another floorjack. I think the Icon torque wrench is $115. I have a lot of choices for that price. The Digital Quinn may have been like $165. Again, A lot of choices for torque wrenches in that range.

The Doyle 10 in 1 screwdriver is $9.99 and the Pittsburgh precision screwdriver set is $6ish. The coupon would work for both and both tools are good quality.
I also received a 25% off coupon today in my email. The code is longer than the normal coupon codes, so I'm guessing it's not a multi use code and it's a single use code.

They're also blindingly self-interested and troll-like.
