I ported in to their network last month. My Samsung A51 5G had all kinds of issues. They are moving from t-mobile to ATNT. I spent hours talking to customer service and they were not able to fix it. I went to the store and they weren't able to fix it. I am going back to cricket.

Boost is garbage now. Owned by DISH, it's terrible now. Knew it was and tried for a different deal that looked great on paper and Boost could not activate my phone/port my number, and had no good explanation why except to blame the SIM. Two SIMs is enough, and it also not working with an older phone that I had previously used on their network years earlier also showed that the problem is their support. Got sick of it, just went to a Metro store and got my phone activated with a new number in literally 10 minutes.

Still waiting for my refund almost two weeks later. I already know I will have to call these people a third time to request a refund for service that was never provided.

Put Boost on your naughty list. Not everyone is going to have my experience but whatever deal they're offering is not worth how inept their CS is now.

I had an amazing number, it was 224-4422 and Boost stole it from me during port in. I refuse to work with them ever again.

There seems to have been at least two people who managed to port out in their numbers in the previous thread. They didn't mention whether they had ported their numbers into Boost, or if they got new numbers from Boost.

Have them change the pin or diy yourself online. And while it's not absolutely necessary, but update your zip code and provide the same to visible.

I can't think of a reason right now why porting would fail.

You could also call boost right away after submitting port request with visible, or be on the phone when submitting.

I successfully ported my number to Metro during the last deal. However Metro took hours to complete the port. They told me it was listed as Dish network and they had to contact them to make it work. I ported because I could not get the sim to work on my iPhone 6s.

Just went through this with Boost, twice. Ported in from a landline and out to Google Voice. Have to say their website failed to authenticate me, the same PIN worked for customer service authentication. Their reps were a mixed bag, some competent and others useless. I also helped another friend transfer to Boost, they first sent her the wrong SIM for the phone she bought straight from them at the same time. Then they told her she had to have wifi and update the phone before it would activate with the SIM, probably 5 calls and 5 hours total. Eventually got it working and the service on her flip phone is so far okay, but not looking forward to dealing with them if anything goes awry.

I've looked at the online account page, and there's no way to change the 6-digit port-out PIN (different from the security PIN that you use to access your accounts yourself) yourself. In any case, I've had Visible try both PINs.

I've gone through this circus a few times - call Boost rep to get acc/PIN, update this information with Visible's online rep, and they'd submit another request to their porting specialists. I'd get told that a specialist would look at it in the next few hours, and then crickets.
