It lasts about 15 on high. But that seems to be too powerful for normal use. I usually use low on hardwood. And med on low carpet and it lasts longer than I need. I use about 20-30 mins on med.

No, it comes with a holster type thing that you can mount to a wall but without it, you'd have to prop it up somehow. The pieces do come apart so you don't necessarily need it to stand up when storing.

I am not disappointed in this. For $99. I think it works really well for a hardwood floor house to upkeep.
