Grabbed this from Walmart yesterday and it's a delightful and beautiful game, albeit pretty easy and not much of a challenge from what I've played. That's okay, though, because I needed something like this as a palate cleanser after playing a lot of Elden Ring. Also, even though the Switch is the least power console out there and it's hardware from 2017, this game looks really nice even on a large TV when playing docked.

Unlike other Switch games that launch at $50 at Walmart, this was the first one that didn't. It was priced at $59.88 in the store. So that was a bummer.

If it's not available anywhere else cheaper, then this is the slickest deal currently available. It's not super-hot, but $5 is $5. Sometimes a deal is slick in context just because somewhere has a highly sought after product available when others are out of stock.

There's a demo available. The game is very polished and has that Nintendo game quality. I've got a backlog of games and will wait for it to get down to $40 but this one looks like it is well worth the full price for anyone looking for a gorgeous new game.

Wrong. When there is literally no other deal (or an equal deal without said bonus item) around than this deal must be slick. And it will continue to be slick until a new better deal trumps it.

It was a buy 2 get 1 free. They forgot to exclude Pokémon from the list of games. No hoops, just ordered it and the money got taken off. Got 3 games foe $40ea. (I did have one order get canceled so I just placed another one at a different store and grabbed it within the hour, but it really wasn't hard)

Not saying I don't believe you. My point is this post is for this particular game. If people can't replicate that deal you mentioned for this game, then why do people belittle post like these? Why not just skip through it rather than complain about it? Does every post have to be a $20 off of $60 to be mentioned? This is $5 off of MSRP with a little goodie. If people don't find it appealing, skip. But I'm willing to bet many people got in on this deal because of this post.
