I have the 3200 lattego that I bought last June/July. We were using a Lavazza blue machine with capsules and a simple milk frother/steamer. Can say, I prefer the blue capsules. I swear I have never had two cups that taste the same from this machine. While the lattego system is a nice gimmick, the espresso shots, lattes/macchiatos, and even regular coffees are not really that great. I've never had any cup from this machine that has rivaled any coffee shop.

Maybe I'm just by myself on this, but I read all these reviews raving on this machine and I just don't see it. We've tried several different beans, grinder settings, milks, etc and just never have any consistency. Use it to make two drinks on avg a day for 9 months now. Maybe 1 drink a week do we say, "hey, that's decent … how did you do that?" Try again and nope.

I got this for our anniversary and if I didn't have this sunk cost of this machine, I would go back or purchase another machine. Just not that good or worth the price. Flame suit on … so go ahead and torch me that I don't know good coffee or machines. My body is ready.
I own the 3200 and got it from SCG. It's a workhorse.
The Breville will produce the best result out of the three if you are willing to work for it, as its only a semi-automatic, and it can take a bit of practice to get the grinding and tamping right. This is a super automatic so all it takes to make a nice cup of coffee/espresso is just a couple of button presses, it's a nice middle ground between convenience and quality. Nespresso makes.....coffee. I've never had a great cup of nespresso, but it's not bad.

If you like what you are getting with it then there's no need to switch. But if you go to a nice coffee shop and find what they make is better or more interesting than what you can make at home, then this is worth trying. Another thing to consider is the whole single use pod aspect, I don't like this K-Cup model, so much waste.

I have a different super-automatic and a pour-over setup, and I really don't spend money at Starbucks and whatnot anymore as I can make something just as good if not better at home for a fraction of the price.

I had the 4300 which is the same internal mechanics with just added programming and LCD layout. That was 899$ but ended up returning it after a couple of days.

It was disappointing because it takes time to experiment to get the setting you like and trying to get out the bitterness or acidity. I just ended up with a drip coffee machine that gives me consistent taste and bought a separate grinder. I think it may work for people who likes espresso based drinks.. but if you are looking for Americano and regular Coffee/Black from a espresso machine it is not good.
What coffee machine did you end up buying? I was interested in one of these automatic espresso machines but a lot of reviews state that the milk isn't hot enough. I'm leaning towards just buying a Moccamaster.

Thanks for the deal, I was looking for something like this. But you can buy this even cheaper from Philips.com. When you first go to the site, wait a few seconds it will pop up a window with an offer for 20% off. Just put in your email address and enter your phone number and you'll receive a coupon code.

Afterwards, you can enter the code and get 20% off your cart purchase. With this discount, the 3200 comes out to $639.20 before tax.

And if you have a chase saphire card, you can get 1 year of free extended warranty when you make the purchase with it.

Here's [philips.com] the link to the item on philips website.
Thanks for this. I already own (and love) a 3200, but used this to get some Aquaclean filters cheaper than Amazon. There is a site with good cash back for Philips, too

I've had this machine for over a year. I love it. It hasn't broken down and it's seen daily use. The machine let's you know when it needs cleaning and it's customizable. The milk frother I didn't like at all because the amount of froth was very little. I use a cheap frother from Amazon and it's much better.

TL;DR; Great value.

We have the same machine and at $700 is an amazing value. If you drink a coffee once in a while, it is just convenience because it makes great coffee drinks.

But if you are multiple heavy coffee drinkers at home, it is now both superb convenience and amazing value (cost).

We got it last year, and it's starting to "leak water"? So the size of the biggest coffee setting only gives me like a double shot espresso size…… I think water goes to the bottom pan, and the coffee is much stronger (so I just add extra hot water). Anyone else having the same problem? Is there a way to reset the machine quick? TY 🙏

Can I make lattes that taste similar to starbucks regular ones with this? I could see this paying off in about a year with the amount of lattes I buy there.

I just bought one on offer up from a local lady, it was brand new but missing the lubricant gel for maintenance( cheap to get in any hardware store) and missing hardness testing strip which I had plenty of from my other hobbies. Anyway the Machine was never used you can tell , I offered her $350 and she took it.

Compared to the Nespresso delonghi lattisima , This makes decent espresso, maybe a little less crema but it might be also the starbucks burnt to hell beans i'm using....As far as Latte/Cappuccino, this one is way more superior, the frother works way better and so much easier to clean. over all I'm very happy with my purchase, but I wouldn't pay $700 for it, its more like $400 machine.
