I was really tempted - I want a driving arcade - but one of the reviews about how the pedals are right under the steering wheel instead of back under the cabinet decided me against it.

Standup version is much better. Could you just opt not to attach the seat and buy a riser instead?
Edit: Yeah I guess not considering the pedal set up.

I didn't see the comment about no pedals, but this machine has foot pedals. I bought it about a month ago from gamestop. I also bought a riser because the sit down version sits really low to the ground. I plan on cutting out the front of the riser with a jigsaw so I can slide the pedals into the riser.
