First of all I have quite a few Dewalt hand tools from wrenches to ratchets and sockets and have been happy with them thus far. I am scratching my head about these (2) sets 3/8" and 1/4" as they don't come with a ratchet. Price is good and I am thinking quick available and portable sockets with my Milwaukee m12 ratchets. They are low enough in torque to use with regular sockets IMO. I wouldn't use these with any impact wrench however. Not sure if I will pull the trigger as of yet?

This is a great deal... note that it includes *BOTH* Metric and SAE deep well, and there are no skips in the metric sizes. Also, the back of package indicates that DeWalt (owned by Stanley Black & Decker) offers a full no-hassle warranty with no proof of purchase required.

11-piece deep socket set at Walmart is $15… seems like a good deal to me. Been meaning to get some newer sockets to replace my old ones. Plus by the look of it, you can keep stuff under those sockets like a ratchet.

Not always, but general rule: chrome finish are for hand cranking and the black oxide finish are the impact rated.
