Lots of shitposting about Alienware… this particular model is liquid cooled, so all the crap about airflow and the nexus video don't apply. I have an R11 with liquid cooling on an insanely hot i9 K processor and a 3080, no issues with temps.

Always best.. I broke that vow and bought an HP last year when you couldn't find a decent priced Graphics Card to save your life. Now stuck dealing with HP's crap OEM firmware.

Their firmware for RGB control works for some things, but not the OEM or any other RAM for instance.

For this level GPU, you should be looking at 4K gaming. 4K gaming only benefits from a powerful CPU to a point that's probably closer to the 11700k/5800X or even 5600X. The 5900 is an incredibly powerful CPU; getting a better one for 4K gaming just would not make a lot of sense, only seek out a better one if you have other CPU heavy uses.

Nice for a loaded rig, but GPU prices are falling as well. FMV is approaching MSRP on GPUs, so unless the rest of the rig is worth the additional cost, I wouldn't buy it just for the GPU alone.

Nonsense. The vast majority of the parts in this are from Taiwan, South Korea, or other places in Asia, not China. Chinese tariffs have zero practical effect on computer prices.
