TD! I need a "Fuel Fuel" one! :-)
Gas price is high, wait for the electric powered.
If they don't have a fuel shut off switch, most generator carburetors have a screw at the bottom of the float bowl with a hose attached so you can drain the fuel manually for storage.

This is a little less convenient than a switch, but once you figure it out it's actually pretty easy.

My standard procedure on all of my lawn mowers, snow blowers, generators and power washers is to just add an inline fuel shut off valve as soon as I buy them. They're usually a few bucks at any farm supply store and only take about two or three minutes to put in line.

Personally, I think every gas powered appliance should come with one.

I have this model, yes it has a fuel cutoff knob and you flip it and let it continue running for a bit till all the fuel in the line and carb is used up. Then you switch to propane/nat gas (if you have the converter for nat gas that is)

that looks like a different model... the one OP posted does not have an LPG inlet port?

Thanks and Reps….. It's hard and expensive to find non-ethanol gasoline around here.

I'm not a generator expert but mine runs totally fine on regular 10% ethanol, never had an issue. I guess it would be wise to run some carb cleaner/cylinder cleaner mix in the fuel in every other tank but I haven't done so...

Uh oh. You may be right! My mistake!!! I didn't realize the page doesn't actually specify "dual-fuel version"

I take back my comment, this model may or may not have the switch for the fuel line like mine does...

Another user SaveTheLinoleum pointed out that this is NOT the dual-fuel model, my mistake! It may NOT have the switch for the gas tank shutoff switch, sorry about the confusion I read the page and thought this was the exact model as mine.

Thanks.. I'm just going to sit over here feeling stupid the rest of the night for never having thought of this.
