Starting today Ace Hardware has the Stanley 150 Series Wood Chisel Set for $4.99 for Ace Rewards members (free to sign up). Note: Limit is 2 to purchase. These will never be compared to Narex Chisels but at this price you can't beat having another set around the shop/house.

Well worth it for the Marples.
Cant say the same for the Chinesium Stanley set, although the price is right for a throw away set.

I've used them a number of times, most recently to clean up half lap joints that I started on the table saw. It worked perfectly fine. I did take less than 5 mins to sharpen the tips on a cheap sharpening stone from harbor freight.
I would recommend for the diy woodworker
