Well worth it for the Marples.
Cant say the same for the Chinesium Stanley set, although the price is right for a throw away set.

I've used them a number of times, most recently to clean up half lap joints that I started on the table saw. It worked perfectly fine. I did take less than 5 mins to sharpen the tips on a cheap sharpening stone from harbor freight.
I would recommend for the diy woodworker
