i almost bought these yesterday, but reviews on aafes stated that the warranty is messed up somehow. i thought that was strange given the fact that the exchange is an authorized apple reseller. with that said, i decided to go with with the microcenter sale. they have the latest magsafe model for $180+tax. i used my venture one x to double the warranty. the $20 extra is worth knowing the warranty will be honored by apple imo, but to reach their own.

Yeah can confirm this happened to me too. I think apple starts the warranty counter when it hits their warehouse. Mine had -3 months on the AirPods.
