They feel like lightweight cotton gloves. I bought them previously. They will keep your hands clean when dealing with dirty or sticky items. They are not thick enough to provide protection from thorns, cactus, or short objects.

Fred know about Lamont's glove business? Bet it's that Rollo Larson that got tied up with this.

Anyone know if these are good gloves? We're new homeowners and I'm gearing up to plant our garden. We definitely need some work gloves!

The garden gloves with the rubber coating are much better. If you have any kind of prickly weeds, bushes, or trees you'll be glad you have that protection. It usually only takes getting stabbed or pricked once to know you need to upgrade lol.

Not sure why this is upvoted so much? Poly-cotton thin gloves useful for maybe throwing the garbage away and that's about it. Maybe keeping the dirt off your hands while gardening then again would soak quickly in any garden

Yeah, nitrile-coated gloves are way better. These probably wouldn't even keep fine dirt off your hands.

Always keep a pair of these in the golf bag fer cold weather. It's a trade off, keeping hands warm vs lose club feel with bulky gloves. Std leather golf gloves provide zero warmth. These provide some warmth in mild cold w/out losing control of the club

Nitrile is not breathable. These would probably be a lot more comfortable to work with. No?
