Best price I've seen since the Walmart deal a couple of months ago. More than twice this price at home improvement stores.

I used this stuff to fill spots in the fall. It's too thick, and looks like crab grass compared to the rest of my lawn. It did grow though, so it depends on your lawn.

Doesn't look like it's a great choice for us Michiganians. Oh well, Atleast we have nice things like the Lions.

Keep in mind it's 20 lbs but only about 3-4 pounds seed rest is coatings and fillers. Better off paying more getting good seed and no fillers and a bag of starter fertilizer. If you put down pre emergant than you have to wait to seed about 8-12 weeks

Why not? I'm in Chicago and don't know the right blend to get. Got a random bag last year and some of the grass turned yellow and dried out all winter. Help?

I ripped up half of my lawn just to get rid of tall fescue last summer. I hate it. It has thick stems and clumps up like crabgrass. My neighbors thought I was crazy. Now my lawn looks like a PGA lawn!
