Thanks for the tip about the possible $40 discount. I used this Employee Offers Program link [samsung.com] to log into my shopping cart and got $40 off.

Samsung never asked me for my employer's identity/verification or anything like that. Total was $222 with tax. Not sure what I did but this cheap bastard will take the discount laugh out loud

You can also get 2% cash back via online cash back sites (Can't mention them here).

This monitor appealed to me because it has QHD resolution, Freesync, high refresh rate and it can be height adjusted/titled into portrait mode. I'm already using 3 monitors with 1 in portrait on my left and the other 2 in landscape. Now I can complete the setup and have dual portrait monitors on both sides; nice...

This item on Amazon is riddled with false specs and the reviews don't do it justice either because it's full of reviews of monitors of other sizes and different model #s. I decided to pick this up @ Samsung.com w/ the edu discount. I love me some IPS and it'll be my first HDR monitor so pretty hyped about that!

What the hell, Samsung's website does the same thing with the reviews.
