If you're at Costco picking out a box, you can figure out which kind of panel is in the TV based on the way the model is printed on the label on the box.
An example:
OLED55C14LB.DEUPLJP
The digit you're looking for is the letter that's the 4th position from the right.
If it's a P or a W (PXXX or WXXX), it's the new WBE (Evo) panel. If it's a Q or a Y (QXXX or YXXX), it's the older WBC panel.

Additionally: While I love Costco to death.. their warranty stuff does not cover burn-in.
For that reason alone, I bought my 48" C1 from BB. I'm also using mine as a computer monitor, so I wanted enhanced protection against that since I'm using it in the highest risk environment.
Other thoughts: This is an amazing deal. You'd be hard pressed to ever notice the difference between the C1 and the newer C2 unless you had them side by side playing identical material for an extended length of time. I cannot express how amazing these displays look. They're incredible. If you're in the market for a new TV, give one of these a look.
Yes, new QD-OLED (quantum dot enhanced OLED) tech is surfacing, and there are going to be new TVs with that Samsung Display panel in it... but those TVs are going to be much more expensive than this.

OLED55C1PUB verde toe accepted my $1025 offer, ask to cancel they offer another $52 refund in my case.
My closest Costco is way further away than Sam's or BJ's. So even though Costco is better, I'm not a member. If I purchased a one year membership for Costco and let it lapse, does anyone know how the warranty would work? I assume the 2 year Costco warranty only applies if you're a member both years? Anyone think the Allstate warranty could just apply to years 2 - 4 instead of 3 - 5?
Does anyone know what MS Streaming entails on the gift card? Does this mean it can be applied to MS Game Pass?
Do all of those devices require the HDMI 2.1 port?

This might be the deal for me. Coming from
An lcd this would be a huge upgrade. Delivery.. Costco for warranty...
May give hdtvtest a couple more days in case a review of the c2 drops soon. I was going to wait for Samsungs qdoled reviews later this year but am interested in integrating with home assistant, Samsung doesn't support this very well so this may finally be it for me.
Sorry just brain dumping. Been watching this space for what feels like way too long haha
