Canceling my Newegg C1 order that's taken half a month (and they still don't know when it will arrive) and picking this up today.

It's not as low as the video only deal but they don't have those in my area.

Newegg has the same price with $200 gc and $100 fanatics, just bought one, hopefully no problems with delivery

Good luck. I had a chat with their support to get contact info for the carrier. They gave me the wrong number. Another chat "hey you have me the wrong number" they gave me ANOTHER wrong number.

Waiting on that Newegg delivery for half a month has been the bane of my existence. My wife says to me "you look happy today" and it's all because I canceled that dang Newegg order. I'm a pretty patient and generally calm person but it really got under my skin.

IDK but before the "video only" deal the best on this set was around $2300 with some gift cards thrown in. If this price popped up a few weeks ago it would have been a steal. I'm in for one now (because I need a TV) and also before anything happens stock wise.

If anyone else is better informed or know how to verify if this is new price or not that would be awesome.

Purchased the set from PC Richards last month ($2300, included Fanatics 100 GC), just called and they price matched (so PC Richards now also now have it at 1999.99 on their site/in-store) and gave me the difference back to my CC. It was so easy I was in shock; I told the rep he totally made my day. To me it totally validated the in-store purchase; everyone one I dealt with from questions, to purchase, and now to price match exceeded expectations. At the time BeachCamera was the best deal but shipping the TV plus dealing with GCs didn't seem worth the stress. Very happy with the TV.

Any thoughts on getting a 65 inch g1 vs a 77 inch C1? Leaning toward the 77 right now

Video Only had a 65in G1 for less than 2k??

The main difference is the G1 gets brighter and has the flush wall mounted design. Me personally I'm going for the G1 because it has the wall mount included as well as a 5 year manufactures warranty

That five year warranty is great, and you can extend it by one or two years if your Credit Card offers Extended Warranty. I know there's people online who buy the G1 with the added feet, but I personally think the aesthetic is being wasted if you don't wall mount it. Enjoy your new G1!

I wouldn't say tank, but OLED's get cheaper to manufacture every year. So that definitely helps. And Video Only has consistently been cheaper than every other retailer, most of the time.

I will say this though, LG has priced the new G2 (at least at Best Buy) right where Samsung has theirs priced. Which is much cheaper than what the G1 launched at.

It's gonna be a mighty fun battle, that's for sure!
