I tried playing again recently and I remembered why I quit, every enemy is a damn damage sponge just like ^^ says, I even tried on easy but it's incredibly tedious to do anything now. I almost think it's a bug because it's so boring to beat on the same enemy, literally 50 hits or so to kill anything now.
It's also even more depressing than Automata, though this remaster has an additional Ending E that's a smidge more hopeful than the original ending. Regardless, if you enjoyed the story and world of Automata and can deal with some outdated game design stuff, this is a fantastic game
