Probably a dumb question: but if I don't own any other M18 batteries, then to use the blower I have to have a battery, right?
It's not like $89 blower comes with it's own battery, right?
That's correct
it is the bare tool if you go with the hack

correct, don't forget charger ad well. cost adds up
Depends what you need it for. I just tested an 8.0 High Output battery on constant high speed and it lasted 13 minutes. For me the blower is perfect because of the no to low maintenance and just pick up an use aspect. I will be using it mostly for blowing out the garage and small jobs, like clearing grass from the driveway, etc. As far as power it doesn't have as much as a gas powered, but it's strong enough to get most jobs done. So if you want it for long yard work you would either need a larger battery, multiple batteries, or both. My opinion is that a battery powered blower is worth it. Just doesn't have to be this one. Also I would get the blower nozzle attachment that someone else posted from eBay. It will probably be good to have.

Thanks!
How can you use it if it doesn't have a battery. It says tool only.

This is for people who already have M18 tools and don't want an extra battery. This way they get the blower for cheap
