The 50/50 is more for quick convenience and topping off once in a while. Older car may have very tiny little leak with coolant but who knows where it is coming from so once in while especially since when there aren't any drip marks, I just pour some into the reserve at the correct line amount. I don't just use the whole jug. If you are doing a flush replacement, go for the concentrate and add the water.
