I would probably go with the prgr 2021 model. Should get similar readings for about $230. Not going to be dramatically different until you get in the 2-3k price point launch monitors.

Thanks for your advice. Question - i am relatively new to golf (weekend golfer since 9 months), but totally hooked. And as you can imagine, i am trying to improve my game. Would this help or is it too early for me to get this gadget?

Too early to be much benefit. I would spend that money on lessons and practice fundamentals. Proper setup, grip, takeaway, swing plane, etc.

I would agree that this isn't for you yet. I would recommend the podcast called the sweet spot. It has tips on a variety of subjects on how to get better. The answer is typically not going to be buying equipment. Also YouTube is not a golf instructor. If you are intimidated by doing lessons or don't have good options in your area, maybe try a few lessons on something like Skillest.

Total newb golfer here, but if you decide to get lessons video it! Set up a tripod and record what they're correcting. Set a couple if you can.

Me and a friend took some lessons while back and it was of tremendous help. At the end of each lesson we could definitely see how much more accurate our swings were. However a few months later and I've already forgot what the instructor told me.

Good luck
