This is the corrected pressing with actual HDR. Initial pressings of the limited edition completely lacked HDR.

Is this just the subtitled version or does it also have the english dub? The amazon page just says:
"Media Format ‏ : ‎ 4K, NTSC, Subtitled"

Imagine paying extra for an inferior disc. Oof. Picked this up the other day but haven't watched it. Does anyone know if the bluray is a remastered version from the 4k scan? Or is it the same old disc from previous bluray releases? I'm hoping it's remastered.

Movie has some seriously disturbing scenes. Like towards the end where the gf gets smooshed by the blob monster. Hate these Japanese animations with gory disturbing nonsense like that just going for shock value. And some fans think this is some masterpiece.

After ordering this, and watching it - some more information. It does indeed have the English dub and it's the one from 2001. Personally I prefer the original 1989 English dub because that's what I grew up watching. Food for thought for others considering buying this in the future.
