Cons:
-Only one battery and it is a small 1.5. The jigsaw won't like that at all.
-One of the tools is a small light. Decent light but feels cheap.
-Deal is not hackable like most of the hot Ryobi deals.
-The tools are Brushed (not a con really in my book, but I know everyone here is on Team Brushless)
-Tool bag is not included, which is unusual for a Ryobi kit.
-Tools feel cheap, at least to me, even compared to other Ryobi tools

Pros:
+If you have an immediate need for a cheap light, drill, and jigsaw, it's only $90 to get cutting and drilling, even when it is dark out .
+Hey, at least the light is brushless.

BTW, like most HD tool deals, this deal pops up repeatedly every couple of months or so.

If you need a jigsaw, this is the best kit available, and it has been like this for a month or two.

Well said. I'll just add the other good thing about this set: the battery is the better 1.5 Ah unit with the charge level status lights. MUCH nicer than the basic 1.5 Ah unit without status lights that Ryobi usually includes in these kits.

What do you mean by "hackable" Ryobi deals?

They mean deals like this: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/15658225

Basically, things are sold in pairs or more and you can return or cancel part of the order and get an item for a discounted price.

2.0 Ah with any motor tool is a joke . . . so if this is your first set of ryobi tools get ready to shell out more $ for more battery

Ryobi had a compact drill/driver that is on par with the size of Milwaukee's 12v. If you are looking for a drill as a home owner/DIY drill then get that one instead. The smaller size will let you get into tighter spaces and the lighter weight will make it your favorite drill. Plus it's brushless meaning (just found this out) less likely to overheat when running continually. Something to do with the brushes causing friction.

But in order to cut or drill in the dark I'd need the battery that's in the flashlight. laugh out loud

Not to worry, once you step off the slippery slope that is the Ryobi ecosystem you will have a ton of batteries in a variety of sizes.

Many of you know exactly what I am talking about.
