Available (you may mix & match cards of lower amounts to get to $50):
Nobody ever includes TW in prepaid deals anymore, and when they finally do, they wanna be stingy and limit to two. You'd think they were really doing something for you with that $5 the way they make you wait for it and then say, two - that's enough right there.
If you're going to buy in Gift Cards or Prepaid cards in multiple transactions, you should just space your purchases out. Wait until the first ones arrive or better yet, wait until the next day.
Buying this same type of item over and over looks suspicious to the credit card companies and can trigger an alert. Whereas, if you bought 6 cards at once, the transaction would go through just fine. They don't know we're doing it to save $5.

We bought ~$1k of T-Mobile prepaid wireless cards several years ago when we had to get to a certain amount spent for our rewards credit card. Was great not having a cell phone bill for my wife or I for the next year and a half, and we got 10% off the total amount as well.
Off topic I am looking for a prepaid plan for a spare number. I will be using it for 2-3 months. 1-2gb data is good enough. Any suggestions. Most carriers charge $5-10 for sim starter kit. Thanks

1GB at Boost is $10 a month and I think they might give you a free sim. The sim alone used to be $1.

Prob is they frequently have been leaving TW out of these prepaid deals lately, and now that they finally include it, this piddly limit. But yes, I'm sure that was nice. I've racked up a nice cushion in the past between Kroger, Target and other deals, but that's now run out. Disappointed for sure. Appreciate OP posting though.

Boost has 4GB for $15.
Thanks . I dont see the 1GB plan anymore in boost. Looks like they changed it to 5GB for $15 monthly. Not bad.
Tello has 1GB plan for $10. Might give a try.
Thanks
