The free updates don't include upgrades.
IOW, when Office 2024 (or whatever) comes out you don't get to upgrade to it. However, you will still receive security, bug, and critical updates to your Office 2021 for the life of the product (thru Oct 13, 2026).

Also, read the ONE COMPUTER part as something that you control. If a computer that you had this Office 2021 on dies, you are fully able to license the same Office 2021 on a new computer, provided you log into your Microsoft account and remove the old computer activation. It's a full retail license that is fully transferrable - as long as it's only on one computer at a time.

Also², If you already have (or have had) a Microsoft account tied to a subscription Microsoft product (Office365/Microsoft365) Microsoft may not allow you to use that account for perpetual products (although this isn't explained when you try to use it). Just create a new, free Microsoft account and activate it that way. You can use the key you receive for any valid email address (regardless of the email address you enter when purchasing the Office 2021 Pro).

I purchased from here in mid April. Last week my installation suddenly restricted my access as unlicensed. I called Microsoft support and they tried to help but unable to saying something to the effect this was MSDN licensed and ultimately I would have to contact the seller. I do not recommend this deal.

I purchased MS Office using the softkey deal for $27.99. Softkey emailed me the registration info 51 minutes later. I registered the software and installed it right after that. Seems to be working fine, I opened up an Excel file and checked the version number. It said 2021 Pro version.

$50 for a grey market key is a rip off. Just go to allkeyshop, search for office 2021 pro, and get a key for a few bucks. They work just fine.

Thank you! I wish I found that website before I bought Office 21 Pro off of another grey market site for $20, but at least now I can use this for the rest of the computers I have. I don't get why this StackSocial "deal" is considered FP when there are similar grey market sellers that beat this $50 price on a regular basis. I'm doubtful of StackSocial selling actual retail keys for the Pro Plus version, so they're likely no different than the numerous online grey market volume license resellers you can find with a quick Google search.

Bought MS office windows 2021 key from StackSocial. Unable to install the next day, MS support indicated that my key was already used Frown

allkeyshop is a European site. They redirect to cheapdigitaldownload to pay in USD. It seems they are like an ebay marketplace for selling digital codes. So it depends on the seller using their platform on whether they provide a reliable code.

(Last time) I sent an email to StackSocial asking if this was Microsoft Authorized and they assured me it was.

After installing it, the license info said it was NOT LICENSED, so I demanded my $50 back, despite SS protestations that I had already installed it.

I just sent them back the email that was sent to me, assuring me it was MS licensed, and they refunded the $50. It is still working on my computer, and so is the 2010 Office I've had forever which is what I still use.
