Honestly, been playing the crap out of this on gamepass. Never got around to picking any of these up before and just finished the first campaign. Doesn't feel dated at all to me (controls etc)... you may feel some of it looks a bit dated but I didn't mind. Worth picking up if you enjoy sneaky assassin games
worth mentioning that although it has a short number of campaign missions, I thoroughly enjoy playing the missions again to go at it from a different angle

Thanks I was about to buy it, had no idea it was on gamepass. I'll have to check that more often before buying stuff.
For those wondering, it's on gamepass under "hitman trilogy".

It's really worth picking up in my opinion. If it weren't for my obsession with all games digital, I'd jump on this. But I have a problem of not wanting to get up to change my games, and wanting to be able to just dial into my Xbox with my phone and play when I'm away

I am complete opposite i prefer buying new games on disc beating them in a week or two and then selling them back for 80-90% of what i paid for them. I have 100s of games in my steam library that i beat like this and have not played since and i didnt get any money back for them.

I just collect games on a shelf I'll probably never get around to playing lol
I disliked the controls so much in Hitman 3 (my first Hitman), I stopped playing and sold the game. Clunky, slow character movement. Too bad as the environment and setting were awesome.

It's def not a run and gun game- nor a third person fast paced action game. It's intentionally slow and methodical. Sorry it wasn't for you. The new series of Hitman have been some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game.
Should I buy the PS5 or PS4 version? I want the PS5 version just to build a ps5 collection, but from my understanding, the PS4 version includes the PS4, PS5, and PSVR versions and PS5 doesnt?

H3 PS4 version includes a free upgrade to PS5 version. And vice versa. But only PS4 supports the VR version. So you will have to play that version on PS5.
These games are a blast. There's several different avenues of approach on each level, and trying to figure them all out can be a lot of fun. Some of the assassination methods are hilarious. There's a lot of replayability here for $20.
