I think the popular opinion is 27-32" 2k, < 32" 4k but to each their own. I have old eyes that can't tell the difference between 480p and 4k, 30fps from 100fps, etc.

Not really, the biggest difference is 30-60 and 60-120/144. After that it's an extremely niche community who notice or get benefits strictly from that hz increase.

This seems to be a new record low for a 240Hz IPS monitor. Also exactly one (1) month ago this exact monitor was selling for $240 via Amazon Treasure Truck.

I personally wouldn't get 1080p over 24". You'll notice the pixels and quality go downhill since it is stretching. But otherwise the specs are great at this price.

I keep going back and forth on monitors. I sit relatively close to my screen at about 2.5ft. I was leaning towards 1080p to maximize FPS. Due to the small distance, I thought a curved screen would be ideal. However, I'm struggling to find a really good, and affordable, 27" curved 1080p because quite frankly I don't think there are many options.

Going to 1440p might sound great long term, but not good for max FPS. Flat screen like this might be ok, but due to the short distance to the screen, my concern is sitting too close on a bigger screen than I have now (24").

Ugh.

Confused DANM all of you!, I'm about to cave to peer pressure, and I don't especially need it, cause I have an excellent 24" Dell.

Bought a S2721HGF at the same time so I could compare the two ... lots of people think that 1080p on anything larger than 24" is bad, but other sources suggest 27" is really the max for 1080p. Guess I'll find out if it looks like crap on *both*

HDMI 2.0 supports it... If the monitor, HDMI cable, and graphics card do as well.
