Never seem to be able to find any when they have these "sales". They're so limited.

I hate to tell everyone but 75% of Frontier flights are 3/4ths of one way.

Frontier has the youngest fleet of any national carrier so it is very safe.

i just flew on Frontier for the first time from Atlanta to Jamaica last week. overall, not sure if the cost savings are worth it for me personally ....specifically for international flights. unlike other carriers that handle covid testing for international flights through their app, for Frontier you have to go to the counter and show your covid NAAT results even if you are not checking in any baggage before you can get your tickets. may seem like a nit, but we literally waited 1.5 hrs in line just to check in and get our ticket b/c we had to show our covid results. we almost missed our flight despite arriving at the airport 3 hrs before departure time. literally running down the terminal to make our flight and the Frontier gate workers were extremely rude and unorganized. i don't know, maybe the cost cutting is passed along to their workers and they are more irritable b/c of it, maybe they have to deal with cheap a--hole passengers all day long ...either way, they seemed to hate their job and have little patience / grace with passengers. just my 2 cents.

Maybe it's been improved, but when I was in Mexico last time 3 months ago, I flew American and had a very similar experience. The verifly app or whatever would not accept a test (happened to many others, just check reviews online :LOL).

But I'll agree the Frontier app sucks also haha.

Back to the Frontier deal, I've gotten these $15 flights 3x now. (PHX-LAS, LAS-ONT R/T) So they are legit if you are a discount den member, just difficult to find. Use google flights to search, then book directly on the Frontier website.

I have had similar experience with American Airline staff. You can't fly a budget airline and expect to have extra nice treatment, there's a trade-off.

Flying back to the US from Mexico next week on Frontier. Where exactly did you have to present your Covid test? At the ticketing desk or at the actual gate?

ticketing desk ... where you go typically to check-in bags. our friends flew on delta and were able to by-pass the check-in line by uploading their covid tests via the delta app.

As other dude said. $15???

I can't even (barely) buy a prepared lunch for $15.

Terrified just thinking what sort of cuts were made to regularly offer $15 flights.
