BuyDig has been around forever. They are listed on LG's authorized retailer list too, if that means anything

best way to search for oled and buydig... they are likely #1 retailer when it comes to oled. obv if you want to pay 10-20% more to return it to BB, that's fine... but if you want the best price from an authorized dealer, they are it.

How the hell do you unload your old TV these days besides giving it away? I spent $1800 on my B8 OLED just a few years ago, don't wanna throw that money down the drain.
Not sure if that's a trick question but FB Marketplace or Offerup, I sell on those platforms all the time. Avoid the extremely obvious shipping scams(in person only) and you'll make a quick sale with a B8 OLED when someone sees it.

Really? I have the Sony A8H which I think is same year and it's beautiful. It doesn't get super bright, though, so lots of sun (even through shades) washes out a lot of the beauty. And… doesn't LG make their actual panels?

I only ask because I'm thinking if I should get a 48" C1 as a computer monitor for work, not games
As a computer monitor I would get the LG. As a TV and entertainment system size 65 and up I would get Sony.

Sony gets specifically selected pans so there is no lottery and their upscaling software is what provides the PQ.

I also hate lg webos. Have it on my LG b7a and it is not great.

I also think the c1 brightness is actually lower than the Sony A80j. If you go G1 then you get the boost. Think Sony has an upgrade model in the largest size too.

Nextdoor App, Facebook Market place, Craigslist and a few others. People search for used OLED tvs. But the value drops like a car. Expect half the value or even less.

Well I guess now days cars values went up.Smilie

What are the concerns about dead pixels ? I don't mind playing the lottery too much but the restock policy and return shipping concerns me about buying from them

Seems like a great deal with 4 yr extended warranty. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Want to get one for my XboxX to play in 120hz. Thanks!
The warranty company is trash. Do not trust their trust pilot reviews. They are *all* incentivized (they give some customers a month warranty extension when you sign up if you leave a 4star review). If you want real reviews on CPS look on Amazon or google other sources. You'll see that practically everyone who has had to file a claim, no matter the device, has had a nightmare experience.

Spend the extra couple hundred and get a new tv with warranty through BB. I wish I had.

This has been the best 120hz TV on the market for a long time and is great for playing games. The response times are great and it's a gorgeous picture. I play on a 65" C1 with ps5 and PC, plays just as well as a medium level IPS gaming monitor but looks immensely better.

They're doing a deal on a 77" Sony oled but I'm holding out for an LG 77" too, can't believe I want an LG more than a Sony. Times have changed
You do realize that sony tv is using an lg panel?

Use a VESA stand like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1
Any clue what the length is between the legs for this stand on the 65" c1 would be?

Great deal but worry about when it's time to call in for that warranty. Very tempting.
I was thinking the same thing because, at this price and this warranty, my goal would be to use it just like I do my current monitor... it would get burnin 100 percent, I know it. So I actually went with a mini led TV... the TCL 6 series but the flipping thing is 55inch, you have to go big to get the TVs with all the sweet tech and that's just not what I wanted but everything else about this TCL is awesome. This makes me second guess my purchase though because I paid 620 and this is damn close. I really just want the 43-inch, its the perfect size high pixle density yadda yadda, for a TV/PC monitor but they are not even out quite yet, any day now and they want 1.5k lol not worth. This is the perfect middle ground to really put a Oled to the test and see but if that warranty is a pain in the ass... I could not even get any info when I clicked on the warranty.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm not sure that one will work.
I have this LG Oled screen in the 60-65 inch version, and because it's OLED the t.v is different: if you look at the back instead of having a uniform back, it's instead razor thin in the back except for a chonky like box on the bottom. I hope that description makes sense but what I'm trying to say is that most mounts will grab onto the top portion and the bottom portion of the back of an LCD; but with an OLED there _is no_ top portion to grab onto as it's all glass and only the the bottom part has holes for mounts... so I would be cautious when mounting

Just throwing my 2 cents here: I bought a new 65" C1 from BB about half a year ago; only found out recently that there's a setting where you can have the screen off while it plays something like a podcast/music. (Settings button on remote > Edit icon on bottom left of screen > Remove any of the icons to make space > Add icon and choose "Screen Off")

Terrified of what people are describing as pixel burn-in but so far it's still good and looks great. Still, get the longest warranty you can for it just in case.

I'm tempted to get it as a monitor as well too, it has a ppi of 91.79 which is the exact same as 24" 1080p and 32" 1440p, so dragging windows between screens of those sizes and resolution would remain the same size.

I do get worried about burn in as a monitor though.

The Sony oled is much better than this deal. Picture quality smokes the LG. Software is also much better.
Sony uses LG panels. Virtually impossible for it to be 'better'. The difference is that Sony pre-calibrates panels. Once calibrated the differences are pretty much non-existent. Source:rtings.com.
