Sadly not supported in Ryzen 5000 series mobile platform. You need to wait for the 6000 series refresh to get USB 4/ Thunderbolt support.

Would be perfect if this had RDNA 2 graphics! When when when can we buy Ryzen 6000 processors and RDNA 2 graphics. I know it was unrealistic to expect these in January or February but we are in April now! Come on !

Nice laptop, not a bad price but this is full retail as the model is brand new. If this goes on sale for $900 I think would be a great config.

EDIT: Sorry, this is an ASUS Vivobook, not the same model.

Here's the same laptop with the RTX 3050 for $1200. It comes with a stylus and the WQHD OLED screen rated at 500 nits (I believe that's what this screen is):

This is MUCH lighter, is a convertible, and has a screen you can draw on. It's different. I think it's a better deal than the g14, which I'm also looking at myself.

Note: I gave the wrong info. The laptop below is a Vivobook, which is not a convertible. However, it is a nice laptop, as well. Just for a different purpose.

That's not a convertible but a normal Clamshell Laptop. That is a great Laptop for Productivity and portability but that's a VivoBook series and the main issue is it's extremely poor port selection. It has two USB 2.0 ports and a HDMI 1.4 port. Also the Type-C port is just a Data Only port, meaning you're stuck at 4K@30Hz for external displays and can't use Type-C Charging. Also, the build quality on this is far superior. VivoBook is mostly plastic apart from the Display Lid whereas this is full CNC Metal build.
