Generally, I find that Costco products are priced 17% higher than in-store prices through sameday.costco.com, but with a $50 discount on $150 spend, or approximately 33% off, it makes up for it and is worth it.
(I also want to note that items that are regularly priced over $100 don't have this built-in 17% surcharge, but rather instead have a $13 flat surcharge. This makes items such as the AirPod's an extremely good value with this discount.)
Since sameday.costco.com utilizes the Instacart backend for deliveries, I have found that with past Instacart orders, if any item is out of stock, and you opt for a refund instead of a replacement, that refund does not remove from the discount. For example, if you're paying a $100 subtotal because you spent $150 minus $50 savings, and then you happen to be refunded on $75 of out-of-stock products, your new subtotal goes from $100 to $25. Your fees would also reduce prorated. Pretty nice!

AirPods Pro: current regular price 174.99
Same day price 179.99. Markup $5 or under 3%.
Discount takes it $129.99 + tax n tip.
If an order has a certain amount of TIP attached to it, the tip will be the full payout only, and we will not be providing additional payment. We will only provide payment on orders where the tip doesn't cover the full order or only a small tip was added, in both cases we will then supplement from our side.
Here's the kicker, we will not be lowering our fees that we charge to the customer or the fees that we charge the business for processing the orders on our platform. So we're essentially taking advantage of the tipping culture to cover delivery, and we're pocketing what we would have paid in today's model.
We have spent millions on marketing "to tip" our drivers, so we can then remove our compensation from the system and make it tips only.
