I bought same system but with 3060 back in October. Works fine after upgrading cpu cooler to vetroo v5 or similar. Bios supports ram XMP timings as well. Using aftermarket memory @2933 mhz
I have Dell G5 case and it runs so hot, I had to upgrade the CPU cooler
How hard is it to upgrade a CPU cooler? Is there an option that someone with limited mobility can avail themselves of? I'm wary of messing with heatsinks and glue and things like that. Thanks.

I got lucky because I had parts from a previous PC build that allowed me to fit the 3rd party cooler with spacers into dells motherboard, but I have pc building experience. So, I wouldn't say its easy because of the limited working space inside dells motherboard and I suggest you go for prebuild that is more normally built with standard parts, motherboards.

The i7-11700 will thermal throttle when gaming due to using Dell's stock cooler. Dell only includes the tower style CPU coolers with the K-series Intel CPUs. However, Dell PCs configured with the K-series Intel CPUs do not get good discounts. Dell's stock cooler should be adequate for the i5-12400 but you may have to wait for back to school sales to get a decent price.

Easy, but not as easy as buying a computer from a better manufacturer.
