I would really like someone to tell me how one refurbishes a SSD drive......perhaps they polish the outside??

just got a 980 non pro a couple weeks ago. had less than 10 hours on it and about 1tb of writes. As has been mentioned often, these are usually customer returns. Mine had about 4 years plus of warranty when registered at samsung.com without receipt.

I only use organic non gmo rice if it helps. It greatly improves longevity.

Make sure to check SMART info after receiving drive. If it's been heavily used you should return it.
