Your mistake was buying Samsung. Panasonic is the king of inverter microwaves.

Can't speak of the Samsung but I've had a Panasonic Inverter for over 11 years now and it works like a charm. Very even heating at 50% and the food is never dry\overcooked as long as you learn to estimate the time needed. The only thing I ever need to stir to even the temp out is soup but it is mostly liquid so to be expected....

It is similar, but didn't perform as well in heating evenness, speed of heating, or defrosting evenness. It did perform better on noise levels in CR's tests, though.

I've owned two inverter microwaves and they both produce the most uneven heating I have ever seen. My $49 Walmart special works better than the $200 Samsung inverter cyclone spiral piece of junk. Literally one side of a frozen meal gets burnt while
The other side remains solid ice

This Cyclonic Inverter was really perfected by the Draconian Empire.

compared to an inverter Toshiba this thing has a very annoying low height. If you use a splatter shield cover on dishes it is difficult with this microwave because it isn't very tall inside.

Go to panasonic.factoryoutlet.com for some great inverter microwave prices. Recently purchased their 1.1 cf Inverter for just over $109 with free shipping. Cuts my cooking time down considerably. Too bad they don't sell TV's.

Panasonic created the first inverter microwaves and have some patents which makes theirs superior. Reheat sensor actually also works amazingly well on my Panasonic.

That's literally impossible if the food is rotating...

how is this possible? Panasonic microwaves are the best in the market and I personally have one and it's amazing and... OH THERE IS IS...

you bought a Samsung appliance... big oof. great phones, great TV's, don't touch their appliances with a 200 foot pole. at least it's just a microwave, you could have spent $3000 on a fridge that breaks in 6 months with zero replacement parts or a $1500 washing machine that explodes and floods your basement.

my local appliance store won't even sell samsung refrigerators anymore because the store does their extended warranty "in-house" (which means when something breaks, an actual employee who works at the store there will come to your home and fix it...) rather than selling a 3rd party warranty from some fly-by-night company. the store ended up LOSING money on many of their samsung refrigerators because they'd have to come back 5-6 times fixing all the things on the fridge that spectacularly failed.

be lucky you only lost $200 on one of their piece of garbage microwaves. again, great phones, great TVs, do not touch their appliances and for the love of god, don't compare them to reputable brands because they both have "inverters" LMAOLMAO

Bought this last couple of months ago. Dead within less than 30 days of regular usage. The microwave was running but no heat. Return it for a refund. Nice looking but maybe I got the defective one.
