darn, was hoping it would work on disney (death on the nile), but alas..works on spider-man: no way home though

unrelated, if you want to add labeav to your ignore list like i apparently already did at some point, here is a handy link: https://slickdeals.net/forums/profile.php?do=addlist&userlist=ignore&u=6280171

Guessing you have a cheap TV and a soundbar so audio and video quality doesn't matter to you. Or maybe you have bad hearing and poor eyesight. Either way, some appreciate the better visual and sound over highly compressed streaming.

Thanks for this code. At one point my grocery store had 4 machines up front. Over the past 5 years (pandemic too) it's now down to 1 machine.

Guess it's a good way to watch Spiderman for free though.

Really wish Redbox would bring 4K discs to Fresyes, CA. No doubt a good chunk of the yokels around here are still content with DVDs, though.

1. NEVER HAD NOR PAID for home internet or cable TV. In my ENTIRE LIFE.

$50+/month x 12 months x 50+ years = $$$ in savings = early retirement while everyone else suffers with the gerbil race trying to keep up with covid inflation...

2. Local library.
Every top hit, all the top 10 movies from each year, hundreds and hundreds more free.

3. Rabbit ear antenna for local OTA TV broadcasts.
130+ TV channels, many playing movies and TV shows 24/7.

So disc rentals make sense because they save tons of money and look better than streaming versions.

It's much like water.
"Let's sell tap water in a bottle, but let's charge 1000x the regular cost per gallon."
"Wth!?!? Are you Insane??? Nobody would buy that!!"
Drum roll for Dasani etc...

...

Maybe SDealers aren't as money savvy as Fatwalleters....
Not having internet isn't the flex you think it is...

Worked on Spider Man... No Way H. thanks, this FREEONE has been a code for 20 years or so but only for one time use, IIRC. It seems to just be reactivated for a brief window.... don't know the exact history though.

BTW does streaming provide alternate audio sources for commentary and bonus material that the disk often contains. Also, you can hop around on a DVD easily.

I'm old enough to remember my first hand me down black and white tube TV when I was a kid. Watched green Acres, beverly hilbillies and such in the afternoon. Was mesmerized. Now I can buy a $100 million dollar HD movie for a buck or two and watch it on a wall sized flat screen TV. Mindboggling!
