Same as Naptha that is cheap... about $6 for a quart at my local farm store, or a quart of similar priced Coleman 'premium fuel.' So, maybe save your empty lighter fluid cans with the small spout, pop the lid off and refill.
I have noticed painter's using Mineral Spirits, but they work inside during the winter. With a higher flash point, it does not work as well for me in things like hand warmers in cold weather.
